winter wonderland?

 Thank you for winter and it's horrible roads, below freezing temperatures, slippery ice and dry skin... you help make me appreciate summer so much more.

brutally honest

Today I am thankful for the "feels like" section in the weather. The actually temperature is never true, especially up here in wind-ville. It keeps me much more prepared on blustery days. Thank you "feels like" for being brutally honest with me.

how did you get that?

I am thankful for scars. I really like scars. I love how they always come with a story and remind us how great or un-great something was. I kinda wish that for every big event in our life we could have a scar to represent it and when someone asked where it was from we could say, "Oh that's just the day I graduated or got married or accepted Christ!" How cool would that be?
